73670 Kurthopf (provisional designation: 1982 QP) is a main-belt minor planet. It was discovered by Carolyn S. Shoemaker and Eugene Merle Shoemaker at the Palomar Observatory in San Diego County, California, on August 19, 1982. It is named after Kurt Hopf, a German educator and amateur astronomer.
